He cheats on her (maybe), she responds with jealousy, they separate and then regroup—and repeatedly continue the timeless roundelay.



But eventually she gets wise to the fact that while it might be a “man’s world,” she and her sex—like the Athenian ladies in Aristophanes’ fourth-century comedy Lysistrata, who refuse to put out until their men agree to end the Peloponnesian War—hold the real power. When Patsy finally realizes that power is hers for the taking, she starts biting back—thus the book was born.

I love to read and have started reading more again lately. I’d seen the book Power Of Pussy by Sandy Patsy mentioned on someone else’s blog and was thrilled to receive a copy of the book to review myself. When some people take a quick glance at the cover and/or hear the title they might think this book is erotic fiction. It isn’t. It’s a journal of a woman’s insights into relationships and thoughts on the different views of man and woman, with some of her personal experiences of love, lust and sex mixed in.

Power Of Pussy is written unlike any other book I’ve ever read. The content of the book comes from documentation of free flowing thoughts, emails, memories of actual events and first person writing. Oh, and Ms. Patsy’s conversations with herself. We’ve all had them, some people just choose not to admit to it publicly. In this book Ms. Patsy holds nothing back, sharing her thoughts, feelings, confusion, pain and excitement with readers. There were times I found myself laughing and other times where I found myself nodding in agreement. The book is written in real words, often colorful. There is absolutely no beating around the bush, pun intended. My most favorite part is the Outline of a Woman's Life located right in the front of the book.

From the very beginning this book makes you laugh. We have all felt the way Patsy feels in this story. Her insights on how men and women think could not be more on track. I truly enjoyed it. I really wish I had read it about 15 years ago. It would have saved me a lot of heartache and headache. But better to realize late than never that we women have the true power.

Sandy Patsy's book, Power of Pussy is about her getting the feelings for her on again off again boyfriend, Peter onto the paper, in which helps clear up the confusion of men.Why do men think they have all of the power, when it is we women who have what they crave and lust after? The black widow and female praying mantis, have a great lifestyle, find a mate, intercourse, and then have them for dinner…literally! Ah, but if it were only that easy.Through Sandy's eyes and life experiences, at the age of 60 she considers herself an expert, on the Power of Pussy. Saved notes, feelings, true events, and ramblings make up the interior of this book.Ms. Patsy uses colorful language, and pulls no stops when it comes to showing her true feelings for Peter or actually men in general. Parts of the Power of Pussy were laugh out loud funny while others were informative and full of emotion. Step into a sneak peak of Sandy's love life by reading her book. 4 Hearts
